Abstract in Lingua Inglese | In the Adriatic region the taxa of the cognate group Asperula staliana are located on three considerably separated areas: (1) on several Quarner islands A. woloszczakii Korica and A. borbasiana (korica) Korica, (2) on some Middle Dalmatian islands A. staliana Visiani subsp. staliana, subsp. arenaria Korica, subsp. issaea Korica and A. visianii Korica, and (3) on the Gargano Peninsula (Italy) A. garganica Ehrend. et Krendl. The morphologic characteristics have been comparatively investigated by using numerous herbarian and living specimens as well as careful observations in the field, and explained taxometrically. The delimitation of species and subspecies has been carried out by the quantitative method of twodimensional scatter diagrams. A latin key for the determination and the Latin diagnoses of all Yugoslav taxa, including the data about types, nomenclature and synonymy have been made. The spreading of the Yugoslav taxa is shown by two maps. Their morphologic differentiation and phytocoenologic indications, all showing the co-existing vegetation of all Yugoslav taxa of the cognate group A. staliana, are presented in tables. The diagram of floristic affinity between the icons of co-existing vegetations of several taxa has been made by means of a simple coefficient of similarity. The ecological characteristics of the habitats have been determined by diagrams showing the partecipation of obligate, preferential and facultative halophytes, as well as the partecipation of Southern Adriatic taxa in the icons of the co-existing vegetations of Yugoslav taxa. The halophyte index (IH) indicates to their ecological differentiation. The polyploid character of the cognate group A. staliana is predominant. Inside of this group its developmental pathway has been hypothetically deduced. |
