| Abstract in Lingua Inglese | This paper describes Asperula woloszczakii Korika from the Kvarner Islands (Krk, Grgur, prvic, Goli) as a geographically restricted endemic species, appearing in a different set of eco-morphological relations and with species characteristics different from the similarly geographically restricted Asperula staliana Visiani 1850 of the central Dalmation islands (Bisevo, Svetac, Hvar and Vrulia: on the Dalmatian coast). It also shows various influences of the climate of the islands of Kvarner and central-Dalmatia on the ecological and vegetation conditions for the development of the species in question. Asperula woloszczakii is divided by its infra-species characteristics into two subspecies: Asperula woloszczakii subsp. woloszczakii (with subordinate taxa var. woloszczakii (type) var. elongata Korica and var. brevifolia Korica) and Asperula woloszczakii subsp. borbasiana Korica. |
