| Abstract in Lingua Inglese | This interesting synthesized phylosophical problem explains the social position of Visiani, the scientist, who exposed his ideas of Enlightenment very clearly throught all his works. However condensed in their themes his works always reflex philantropy, conditioned by the new phylosophic matter, namely, by the specific conditions the author live his practical life under and by his conviction that the humanization of the society is conditioned by the popularization of science, or, as we would say today, by transforming science into a democratic cognition which is possible to attain only if science is available to all people. Putting his ideas into practice in 1845 Visiani organized an exposition of plants undre the title the "FLOWER HOLIDAY" on the occasion of 300th anniversary of the foundation of the Botanical gardens in Padua. He succeded in interesting some social organizations, individuals from wider Padua, university and political authorities for this purpose. This approach of Visiani's to nature means that he appartained to the progressive ideas of Enlightenment. As educationist Visiani was a lover of his native soil, and he was the first to put down our folk names of plants. |
