| Abstract in Lingua Inglese | The existence of floristic discoveries by Giovanni Montini, to be considered doubtful on the basis of our field observations has induced us to deal with the revision of his herbarium preserved in the Museo Civico in Bassano del Grappa. Only the species belonging to the flora of Triveneto have been considered. Our attention has been focused on those belonging to critical groups or on those whose real presence is to be considered bio geographically significant. Some doubts have been worked out, others have remained since several cards related to more areas have come togheter in the same sheet. Some of Montini's discoveries remain mysterious. However, it has been possible to reconstruct the stages of his botanical research and the scientific contacts with the botanists of that time. The verification of the changes undergone by some environments of the high Venetian Plain has been surprising; these changes have affected humid biotopes, arid ridges and the weeds of crops. Despite the precariousness of the state of conservation of the historical herbaria, their critical, although onerous, revision always led to results of great interest. |
| Abstract in Lingua Italiana | Vengono riportati i risultati della revisione dell'Erbario di Giovanni Montini (1802-1854) relativamente alle specie della flora delle Tre Venezie. Particolare attenzione è stata rivolta alle specie critiche o di rilevante significato fitogeografico. Molti problemi sono stati risolti, altri rimangono per il fatto che talora, sullo stesso foglio d'erbario, si trovano cartellini provenienti da aree geografiche diverse. La revisione dell'Erbario ha portato a risultati di grande interesse scientifico. (LH) |
